Day at the coast with friends...

Friends Stuart, Jason, Chris, and Craig turned up for a days riding on the coast last Saturday, and it would be an odd day weather wise as the cloud broke to a real scorcher mid ride, then across the Forth high rain clouds poured across Fife, all the time treating to swing our way but luckily we just got a 15 minute light shower!...

Good banter as always as we rode the flat sands past Yellowcraig to the sandy single track and rocks below Archerfield and Muirfield...
Craig`s own Pugsley Fatbike had crank problems so i stuck the old wheels on my old Pug and loaned him it for the day,
Onwards along the coast and a quick stop before the long ride along the hard sand at Broadsands past Yellowcraig and onto more technical riding..

As we climbed above the cliffs at `Maggies Loup` the clouds cleared and it was roasting!...

Time for some uncut film to show the trails and here dropping down to Gullane beach car park to top up water bottles, it was like an Indian Summer now...

Listening to Radio 6 Music i have discovered some great artists, the latest is Jane Weaver, whose new album `Modern Kosmology` is a cracker, here is song 2 `Did You See Butterflies`

We had a light shower of rain as the clouds moved up the Forth, but were lucky!..

From Yellowcraig we took to the woods and the John Muir Way back into town...

Tide on the way in now as we rode along the West beach...
