Another offroad detour commute and some film...

Thankfully the gales of late eased a bit today to regular winds- 20 mph!  but still cycled into work as the day dawned overcast but again unlike what was forecast the sun was out by home time...

Into work and had to take a pic of these cakes going out  from the kitchen! yum!!!  :)

Busy week with school holidays and as always early hours checking the Fairy Trail, i don`t miss Greenkeeping at all and rather do this any day!...

4pm - Home time, and today i rode down to the coast, west to Gullane, then south to Drem, then east back home and only would cycle around 2 miles of tarmac...

Through the grassy `Savanna` type dunes of Muirfield...

Then along the Bake Bean Trail to Gullane Village...

Then via the old Railway line and former Drem Airfield it was up to Drem...

Then south of Drem up past Kilduff on farm roads...

Soon be home around 6:30pm,  rest of the night to myself and time to edit a quick wee film...

Had the iPod on cycling today and as always it`s full of loads of Boards of Canada, and one song i kept repeating several times as was stuck in my head,,,
Wee film, song is `Rue the Whirl` by Boards of Canada...
