Offroad Commuting...

Setting the alarm for half an hour early i can do a great offered commute into work via the John Muir Way Trail to work. The route can be altered to suit time available and today i rode the Pugsley with Fat wheels to enjoy a return route on the coast at low tide.
Leaving the house at 6.30am i followed a soggy JMW after a wet night to North Berwick as the first signs of dawn glowed to the east out in the North Sea...

A familiar blog picture on the JMW south of NB Law...

Exmoor ponies enjoying breakfast...

Through a quiet NB town and leaving the JMW before it crosses the field to Yellowcraig i cut through a small wood and into the Estate...

A dream home...  Former WW2 Ground Control Intercept (GCI) Station, on the market for sale at a cool 2.5 Million...

Now 7.10am and the 6/45am sunrise about to break through the coast low cloud as i spun up to work......

First in at work and opened up and time for a brew before checking weather and emails before another varied day of jobs indoors and out  under a sunny sky and increasing gale force winds throughout the day...

Another fun day at work and soon it`s home time and through the estate and onto the coast...

After a day of increasing gale force winds the exposed low tide sand was blown firm and the going was fast rolling along to North Berwick as the sun set behind another cloud bank building up inland to the west...

Broadsands was deserted!...and had the coast to myself all the way to the west beach in NB!,,,

From the East beach it was up through The Glen wood and through the town to join the JMW again and home...

And back to the same pic again nearly 10 hours later...

More soon...
