Sunday Morning Singlespeeding...

It`s good to be riding the old Pugsley again with a similar 29+ single speed wheel set as it had 3 years ago when i got the wheels as a gift and thank you from Tyler at Surly. You can read about that Here...

I enjoyed riding the Pug with that set up over that long hot summer 3 years ago...

But i could do a lot more with a more versatile bike with gears as i have found with a Surly Karate Monkey, and a drop bar CX bike. But if you can add a SS bike to the fleet, or wheels to one of your bikes then it`s a good use of a spare bike.

Sunday morning,,,
A nice wee loop on local trails and field boundaries early morning on the old Pugsley with the single speed 29+ wheels i built last week...

The view from Sydserf  is one of my favourite `non sea view` views in East Lothian, Fenton tower, NB Law and the old windmill at Balgone to the NE...

And the view south and west across where i live and the Garleton hills, Traprain and the distant Lammermuirs...

Big Puffball...

After spinning to death i removed the 20t and added a 17t up front for any long distance road miles, though unlikely to do that and use this gear, i have also removed and now sold the 3" 29+ Knards and fitted the Maxxis 2.5 Minion tyres i bought a while back, yeah i know they are not 29+ size!, but they are perfect for this bikes roll with these wheels fitted. Eventually i may get some Surly Dirt Wizards to replace these when they wear out....

:)
Whats this?

I`m now a member of the Cartel... ;)

Nice colours, and some nice colours out in the countryside...

More harvest scenery soon...
